Welcome to Northern Michigan RC Club
We’re a growing community of RC enthusiasts based in Northern Michigan. Most of us are into surface vehicles—trucks, crawlers, bashers, and trail rigs. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of builds under your belt, you’re welcome here.
We’re working to build a local RC community that’s welcoming, supportive, and low on drama. The goal is simple: connect with others, have fun, and keep things moving—literally.
Mostly hobbyists and tinkerers who like to get outside, wrench on rigs, and share tips. We’ve got folks who are casual weekend drivers and others who dive deep into gear setups and mods. The common thread is respect—for each other and the hobby.
What We Want to Do
- Coordinate with local hobby shops and tracks to help grow the hobby across Northern Michigan
- Host regular events and group trail runs
- Set up friendly competitions, obstacle courses, and crawling challenges
- Organize swap meets and hands-on build days
- Eventually add air and water events—boats, drones, and planes—as interest grows
Events & Locations
We rotate through different public spots and trail-friendly areas across Northern Michigan. We also make it a point to support local hobby shop events and tracks—both to show up for the community and to give members a chance to explore new setups. Details are posted on Facebook.
